Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers spent the coronavirus lockdown watching reruns of 'Jeopardy!'

The loved-up couple have given fans a rare insight into their romance via Instagram, with the NFL star revealing his love of the long-running game show ahead of his first episode as the host

Aaron - who will be the guest host for the next two weeks - said: "I was quarantined in Montreal for a lot of the beginning of the off-season, hanging out with this lovely lady right here..."

Aaron revealed he'd been religiously watching 'Jeopardy!' ahead of hosting the show.

He shared: "Montreal, Quebec has some really tight COVID rules, so a lot of downtime. I watched every episode on Netflix multiple times. I watched old episodes I found on my phone."

And Shailene, 29 - who confirmed she was engaged to Aaron earlier this year - admitted that her husband-to-be wasn't joking about his love of the TV show.

Speaking about their lockdown experience, she said: "He watched so much 'Jeopardy!'"

During the video, Shailene's pet German Shepherd appeared on screen and the actress joked about how much they both love their pooch.

She quipped: "Who else gets in fights with their partners about how much they get to cuddle with their dog? Is it just us?"

Meanwhile, Aaron has admitted to being a long-time fan of 'Jeopardy!', revealing he used to watch the show with his family as a child.

He explained to The Ringer: "We would go to my grandma and grandpa’s house, and their favourite thing was watching 'Jeopardy!'

"I was seven or eight and I never had any idea what was going on really - I mean, I was not able to answer any questions. It was more just the experience of sitting around a TV after dinner and watching a trivia show. Our family’s always been into trivia - I’ve always enjoyed board games and Trivial Pursuit."
