Justin Rose has stolen the show in the first round of golf's Masters with a seven-under par 65 to claim a four-shot lead

The two-time runner-up made six birdies on the back nine, while others struggled around fast greens.

At two-over after seven holes, Rose says an eagle on the eighth got him going.

Defending champion Dustin Johnson's carded a two-over 74 while Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia are among those at four-over par.
