Illness has been unable to stop Kalyn Ponga from busting out some sick moves on the field during the Knights 26-22 NRL win over the Sharks in Newcastle

Illness has been unable to stop Kalyn Ponga from busting out some sick moves on the field during the Knights 26-22 NRL win over the Sharks in Newcastle

The star fullback came into the game carrying a virus and could be seen keeled over on multiple occasions vomiting as he battled through the contest.

Ponga proved to be the difference though - scoring the first and then the match-winning try of the game.

Coach Adam O'Brien says Ponga and his housemate Connor Watson both went into the game unwell.

Elsewhere, the Storm have toppled the Roosters 20-4.
