Police are asking people to keep an eye out for counterfeit money, after fake 50 and 100 dollar notes were presented to businesses in Lower Hutt

One person's been charged for possession of 14 100 dollar banknotes.
Anyone who thinks they're being given fake money is being urged not to take it, and to alert police.
