The southerners claimed their first win of the ANZ Premiership season with an 18 goal victory over the Mainland Tactix.
The Steel be looking to shut down Mystics tall timber Grace Nweke under the post in round two.
Steel coach Reinga Bloxham says they know what it's like having a tall holding shooter, from when Jhaniele Fowler was in their team.
