New Zealand Rugby has announced a big loss for the 2020 financial year

The governing body has posted a total loss of 34.6 million dollars including an operating loss of 18.7 million.
It is being attributed to the Covid-19 impact, Super Rugby shutdown and scaled back All Blacks tests with six taking place last year, two at home.
Revenue is down 26 percent from 187 million dollars in 2019 to 138 million last year.
The 26 provincial unions have voted unanimously in favour of the proposed Silver Lake deal which can't pass until they have the Players' Association's agreement.
Outgoing chairman Brent Impey says differences must be overcome.
