An animal rights group says the greyhound racing industry hurts dogs and should be suspended

SAFE says greyhounds can suffer strains, painful breaks and muscle tears when they race.
Minister for Racing Grant Robertson launched an enquiry into the welfare of dogs in the sport last month.
SAFE spokesperson Will Appelbe says it's a good start but more action is needed.
He says the government needs to move now to suspend the sport while it's being investigated.
