Manu Vatuvei says he will fight for his innocence

Manu Vatuvei says he will fight for his innocence

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The former Warriors winger is charged over the importation, possession and supply of methamphetamine.

He posted a video on Instagram last night, revealing himself as the "sport star' facing the allegations.

It comes just days before a High Court name suppression order was expected to expire.

In the video, he explains there's something he needs to get off his chest...

He says the charges against him have been holding him down for a while now, and he would rather the fans hear it from him first.

The 35-year-old played 226 games for the Warriors, 29 for the Kiwis and two for Mate Ma'a Tonga.
