More court action against the police officers involved in the arrest and death of George Floyd

A US federal grand jury has indicted the four former Minneapolis police officers, accusing them of violating the man's constitutional rights.

CNN Correspondent Omar Jimenez says the charges against Derek Chauvin's colleagues centre around the fact that they didn't intervene and failed to give George Floyd medical aid.

According to the indictment the defendants saw George Floyd lying on the ground in clear need of medical assistance, and willfully failed to aid him.
