Porirua's mayor is welcoming large investment in our water infrastructure with open arms

Porirua's mayor is welcoming large investment in our water infrastructure with open arms

A new report has found up to 185 billion dollars worth of water infrastructure investment may be needed over the next three decades.

It also recommends just one to four providers to manage the three waters network.

Porirua Mayor Anita Baker says this is well overdue.

She says her city has good drinking water, but their sewage and storm water systems need work.
