    The Los Angeles Lakers' hopes of repeating as NBA Champions are over, after losing game six of their first round Western Conference series against the Phoenix Suns


    The Suns have won 113-100, to claim the best of seven series 4-2.

    They will now face the Denver Nuggets in the semi-finals, who earlier defeated the Portland Trail Blazers to advance past the first round.

    For the Lakers, it ends their season and chances of securing an NBA record 18th title.
