Concerns over a shortage of construction workers

Workforce Information Platform data shows we're short about 65-thousand workers for private and state projects.

The numbers are worst in Auckland and Wellington.

Workforce Information Platform Manager Mark Williams says it could mean big delays.

He says it will inevitably stall some projects - possibly because of raised prices.
