Rescuers are continuing to care for orca calf Toa after he was found stranded in Plimmerton on Sunday.
The search for his pod continues - with the latest sighting coming from Taranaki.
The Department of Conservation's Ian Angus says bad weather's on the way, so they're having to reassess their plans.
He says they're strengthening Toa's pen - to prepare for the weather.
A strong wind watch is in place for Wellington and Wairarapa tomorrow.
