    The kiwi sailors are about to hit the water on the eighth day of competition


    Micah Wilkinson and Erica Dawson in the Nacra17 have some ground to make up in their last three seeding races, starting soon .

    Paul Snow-Hansen and Dan Willcox in the 470 sit handily in third place and are also underway shortly .

    Josh Junior in the Finn also sits third overall with two final qualifying races today.

    Sam Meech sails the laser medal race from 5:30 but is currently in eighth place overall.
