The apprentice is hoping to have the master by his side at some point during his Olympic campaign

The apprentice is hoping to have the master by his side at some point during his Olympic campaign

20-year-old middle-distance runner Sam Tanner will make his debut in the 1500 metres at Tokyo.

38-year-old double-Olympic medallist Nick Willis is attending his fifth Games.

Tanner says Willis believes the past races they've both been involved in have been Tanner's best.

Tanner and Willis race in their heats after midday.
