All of the returnees came via Singapore, and four of them were in the same travel bubble.
The UN worker from Fiji with Covid-19 remains in Auckland's Middlemore Hospital in ICU.
The other Covid-19-positive patient who was transferred from Jet Park to Auckland City Hospital on Thursday, has been discharged back to quarantine.
The Ministry of Health says isolation and infection controls are in place, and hospitals remain safe for patients, visitors and staff.
