Contract port workers ... have been named and shamed for slow uptake of the Covid-19 vaccine

Jab rates at ports have been under the microscope this week -- after Port of Tauranga workers were exposed to Covid-19.
It was found only nine of the nearly 100 workers in contact with an infected ship ... were fully immunised.
Jacinda Ardern warned border workers it's crunch time to get the jab.
Response Minister Chris Hipkins says 61 per cent of active port workers are fully immunised - and another nine per cent have had one dose.
He says 85 per cent of port workers at Auckland, Nelson and Wellington have had a jab - but there's an ongoing problem with contractors.
