Revenue for the year to June is down 50.4 per cent to 281 million dollars.
The reporting period was the first full year of operating in the Covid-19 pandemic -- and is the first year the airport has reported a loss, since listing on the sharemarket in 1998.
Chief executive Adrian Littlewood said the 2021 financial year had been unprecedented, with international arrivals and departures reaching their lowest point since 1972.
That had been partly offset by the recovery of domestic travel.
