    Countdown's announced a nationwide reduction of its opening hours and some Auckland stores are temporarily closing due to the strain of increased demand

    Countdown's announced a nationwide reduction of its opening hours and some Auckland stores are temporarily closing due to the strain of increased demand


    Trading hours across Countdown stores nationwide will change to 8am to 9pm to give teams time to restock shelves.

    Its central Auckland Metro stores in Albert St and Halsey St will also temporarily close from tomorrow.

    Countdown Lynfield, Takapuna, Lincoln Road and Botany will also further reduce their trading hours .
