The baby girl was found over a week ago but police are still no closer to finding her mother, and the baby's lying in a mortuary with no name.
St Peter's Anglican Church Vicar's warden, Dayna Townsend, says if the family doesn't come forward, the church is willing to hold a service and bury her in the churchyard.
She says as a mother, her heart goes out to this tiny baby - and her heart also goes out to her mum, because must have a sad, desperate story behind it.
