    A 29-year-old man has been arrested after a crash in Christchurch, which killed a 62-year-old woman


    Rachael Harris, died after two cars collided at the intersection of Marshland and Mairehau Roads on Monday night.

    Police were seeking the driver of a silver Nissan Nivara which fled the scene.

    The man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and will appear in Christchurch District Court next week.

    Police are thanking the witnesses who came to the aid of Rachael Harris, and the public for help identifying those involved.
