    Wellingtonians can expect to be questioned when travelling - after reports of a spike in level three traffic


    Police checkpoints were set up on Oriental Bay and Makara Beach yesterday - with three cyclists and one motorist turned around.

    Wellington police roading manager, inspector Wade Jennings, says people need to stay close to home even at level three.
