Kiwis expect the housing market to remain resilient

ASB's Housing Confidence Survey has found house price expectations for the next 12 months aren't far down from the historical high set at the start of this year.
ASB Chief Economist Nick Tuffley says those expectations have been edging back this year, but not that much.
He says people still think there is a decent amount of momentum in the market.
Tuffley says overall people have fairly resilient expectations, given the things that have been chucked at the housing market -- particularly on the regulatory front and the tax front.
