Queenstown Lakes District thinks more than an apology is needed from Auckland's Wanaka holidaymakers

Queenstown Lakes District thinks more than an apology is needed from Auckland's Wanaka holidaymakers

William Willis and Hannah Rawnsley have abandoned name suppression and apologised for flouting lockdown rules to travel to the South Island.

Jim Boult says he accepts the apology but doesn't forgive them for putting the community at risk.

He'd like police to lay charges.

Boult says you can't just walk away from this and there needs to be a day of reckoning.
