    Dunedin's loss - is Auckland's gain

Guns N' Roses will be Eden Park's first international concert.

The band has delayed their New Zealand tour by a year - and the December 2022 Eden Park show is replacing that previously scheduled for next month's one at Dunedin's Forsyth Barr.

Eden Park chief executive Nick Sautner says after uncertainty impacting the events' industry - it's a light at the end of the tunnel.

He says there's a number of artists looking to tour at the end of next year and start of 2023 - exactly what the industry and country needs.

Guns N' Roses Wellington concert scheduled for next month, will now proceed on December 8 next year - two days before the Auckland gig.
