    US Ryder Cup golf captain Steve Stricker is hailing victory over Europe at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin


    The Americans have reclaimed the trophy 14-and-a-half to six-and-a-half with seven matches in play.

    It's now 17-and-a-half to six-and-a-half with three contests to finish.

    Stricker describes the emotion of the occasion.



    The US led 11-5 heading into the 12 singles matches.

    Collin Morikawa secured the winning half point against Viktor Hovland.
