Family of a missing Dunedin woman are at a property in the city, being searched by police

Amaria Whatuira, also known as Mia, hasn't been seen or heard from since early August.

The Otago Daily Times reports police have now cordoned off a property in the suburb of Glenleith.

A reporter at the scene says family and friends are gathered near the cordon, and police in white boiler suits are searching through deep bush.
