A potent connection looks to be building in the Silver Ferns' shooting circle between youngsters Maia Wilson and Grace Nweke

A potent connection looks to be building in the Silver Ferns' shooting circle between youngsters Maia Wilson and Grace Nweke

24-year-old Wilson and 19-year-old Nweke combined for 51 of the Ferns' 58 goals in their first-up win over the Aotearoa Men last night.

They're due to take the court again this evening in the second of three clashes.

Centre pass in Wellington is at 7:15.

The likely postponement of the FIFA Club World Cup suits Auckland City football just perfectly.

The tournament is set to be moved from December this year to early 2022, after Japan withdrew as hosts.

Auckland City chairperson Ivan Vuksich believes the new host will likely be Qatar.

Vuksich adds the original date of the tournament clashed with their domestic season.
