    A man has been arrested in Christchurch after allegedly scamming victims more than 500 thousand dollars


    Police charged the 26-year-old with loss by deception after searching a Hornby address this morning.

    A 32-year-old woman has also been charged with possessing methamphetamine and allegedly scamming a victim out of 28 thousand dollars.

    The man is appearing in in the Christchurch District Court this afternoon - and the woman will appear next week.
