    Police have identified the driver involved in a hit and run incident in Hamilton early yesterday morning


    A teenage girl was struck by a vehicle on Boundary Road just before 2am.

    She remains in hospital in a critical condition.

    Enquiries are ongoing and at this stage no charges have been laid.

    Police are thanking members of the public who came forward with information.

    However, they'd still like to hear from anyone with other information which could help, who hasn't yet spoken to police.
