A 32-year-old man's due in court today, after a serious firearms incident on the Kapiti Coast

He's facing more than a dozen charges after the incident yesterday, which began in Peka Peka and ended in Waikanae.

They include two charges each of using a firearm against a law enforcement officer, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and discharging a firearm, and one charge of threatening to kill.

Other charges are also being considered.

Police are appealing for CCTV or dashcam footage and asking for more victims to come forward.
