    The Health Ministry has released Covid-19 locations of interest in Masterton and Taupo


    It comes after a Covid-19 case with an unknown cause of infection travelled to Masterton last weekend, then became symptomatic on Monday.

    The person visited Pub and Grub Taupo on Thursday, Dbar and Sin City Taupo Strippers Thursday night into Friday and Gull Petrol Taupo on Sunday.

    Locations of interest in Masterton include the Warehouse on Saturday, and McDonalds and Master Fried Chicken Lunch Bar Kuripuni on Sunday.

    They also visited Challenge Petrol Station in Greytown, south-west of Masterton.

    Two household contacts of the case have returned positive test results as well tonight, alongside a close contact outside the home.
