    Police have revealed two men involved in a fatal two-car crash near Tawa knew each other


    The two drivers crashed on State Highway one about 20-past-three yesterday morning.

    A 54 year old died at the scene ... and a 32 year old has moderate injuries.

    Wellington Road Policing Manager Inspector Wade Jennings says initial enquiries suggest they were driving side by side over the speed limit.
