The All Whites' route to possible FIFA World Cup qualification appears to have changed

The All Whites' route to possible FIFA World Cup qualification appears to have changed

FIFA have confirmed alterations to the 2022 World Cup intercontinental playoffs, with just two matches to take place over a single leg next June.

It differs from the previous qualification structure which was settled by aggregate over two home-and-away fixtures.

The draw to determine who plays who between the OFC, AFC, Concacaf and CONMEBOL will be next Saturday.

New Zealand was the OFC representative in 2009, 2013 and 2017.
