More cash for Pharmac, to buy treatments for Covid-19

The Government's giving the drug-buying agency 300-million dollars, to add to the suite of Covid medicines available in New Zealand.
Pharmac has already secured molnupiravir , a tablet for people with mild to medium infections.
Health Minister Andrew Little says the treatments will help cases recover more quickly.
He says it'll mean a shorter stay for those in hospitals, and will help keep the pressure off.
