There have been two arrests after a second serious assault in a West Auckland suburb this week

There have been two arrests after a second serious assault in a West Auckland suburb this week

Two people are in hospital - one with serious injuries - after being attacked at a Glen Eden house.

Emergency services were called to Evans Road about 2am after reports two people had entered a house and allegedly assaulted those inside.

They stole a vehicle from the victims' house and drove off, then were arrested in Henderson.

Detective Senior Sergeant, Nadene Richmond, says the people involved know each other, so it's not a random incident.

And five Comancheros gang members were arrested yesterday, after an incident in Glen Eden two days ago.
