New Zealand has 134 new Covid-19 community cases today -- one in Northland, eight in Waikato, nine in Bay of Plenty and 116 in Auckland

New Zealand has 134 new Covid-19 community cases today -- one in Northland, eight in Waikato, nine in Bay of Plenty and 116 in Auckland

There are also two new cases in Nelson-Tasman, to a total three in the region now, that'll officially be added tomorrow.

    All three cases are linked.

The Ministry of Health is still looking for the source of infection and says anyone in the region with even mild symptoms, should get tested.

There are 89 Covid-patients in hospital -- including nine in ICU.

86 percent of the country's eligible population are now fully vaccinated.
