The Government's being urged to clear up why it's not sending any diplomats or ministers to the Beijing Winter Olympics

Some countries have chosen not to because of the murky situation around tennis star Peng Shuai .
National Party trade and export growth spokesperson, Todd McClay, says it's not at all clear what the Government's position is.
He says Sports Minister Grant Robertson says it's because of Covid-19 but Trade Minister Damien O'Connor says it's a diplomatic boycott.
McClay says whenever there's uncertainty with China, things can go in the wrong direction.
He says it needs to be cleared up quickly so exporters and the public know where we stand.
