    Investigations in Taranaki after 15 Covid-19 cases were recorded in the Eltham township, likely all linked to a case reported on Sunday


    They're mostly students at a local school now closed for summer.

    South Taranaki Mayor Phil Nixon says people should be wearing masks, scanning in and getting vaccinated.

    He says as long as there's no panic, the community will be able to work through it together.

    There are 74 new community cases today - 56 in Auckland, nine in Waikato, seven in Bay of Plenty, one in Lakes and one in Canterbury officially recorded in today's numbers.
