Police have received reports of a young man approaching women in Christchurch's red zone area, exposing himself and in some instances indecently assaulting them

They're asking anyone who's out in the early hours in the River Road and Retreat Road vicinity, to be aware of their surroundings.
The incidents have mainly been between 6.30 and 8am, the latest report on New Year's Day.
The offender has not been located and anyone with information on the incidents should contact Police on 105.
