Carl Bromley has expressed anti-Government and pro gun rights views in the past.
Police say they raided his home following concerns about an individual's wellbeing and the likelihood that he was armed -- and had made efforts to contact him beforehand.
But Bromley says they made a few calls from an unlisted number he had no reason to trust, and then raided his home while he went out.
He says he ignored those messages as he often receives abusive calls from unlisted numbers about his political views.
Bromley claims he has never fired any of his guns and isn't a violent person.
