Australian golfer Cameron Smith has set a PGA Tour record for the lowest 72 hole score of 34 under in securing victory of the Tournament of Champions Event in Hawaii

Smith closed the opening event of the season with an eight under 65 to hold off world number one Jon Rahm by one shot after both shared the lead at the start of the day on the Plantation Course.
It's Smith's fourth PGA Tour title ... compatriot Matt Jones charged home with two eagles on the back nine to finish outright third.
