    Overall prices are up 4.6 percent.

    Whole milk powder is up 5.6 percent, and skim milk powder's not far behind.

    Fonterra CEO, Miles Hurrell, says the international market's aware of New Zealand's dry conditions, which are expected to affect production.

    He says buyers have finally woken up and realised it's a reality, and have come out of the blocks.

    Hurrell says it's a very positive result
