Katie Price has had an exorcism in her son's bedroom to rid her Mucky Mansion of "ghosts"

The 43-year-old star thinks her home is haunted, and she has filmed the exorcism - which took place in her 16-year-old son Junior's bedroom - for her new Channel 4 show which will see her renovating the rundown Sussex property after it had been neglected for years.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Katie filmed an exorcism at the top of the house, where she thinks is haunted - it's due to be Junior's bedroom - for the cameras.

"Who knows if it'll make it to air as it was quite spooky, but she's hoping the ghosts are banished forever and she can turn it into a happy home."

Last year, Katie insisted her home is "definitely haunted" by the ghost of a "little boy".

She said at the time: "It's definitely haunted. I took a picture of a little boy sitting on my top floor.

"I've got pictures of a guy going through the mirror. I videoed it all.

And me talking to a candle flame and it responding. I'm telling you.

"My whole life is nuts. I've had my friends in tears when I've brought up stuff about them that I didn't know by talking to the candle."

Quizzed on how her conversations with the candle work, Katie explained:

"You'll see me talking to it, telling the flame to go high, low, high, low."

The house has suffered numerous disasters, including a collapsed ceiling and a flooded kitchen, while fire crews were called to extinguish a blaze at the property in 2020.

She has been renovating the home to get rid of any bad energy the property holds, with the work being documentary for C4 show 'Katie Price's Mucky Mansion'.

Speaking about the show - which starts this month and will run for six episodes - Katie said in a statement: "My house has been called the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it's not that anymore, I'm making it a home. I'm getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself and, with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I'm putting the past behind me and rebuilding."
