New Zealand is bracing for supply chain issues as a result of Omicron

New Zealand is bracing for supply chain issues as a result of Omicron

The country's now in the red setting of the traffic light system, meaning gatherings are limited to 100 vaccinated people, but schools and most businesses can still open, and domestic flights can still go ahead.

Finance Minister Grant Robertson says it's inevitable there will be some supply chain issues because around 350-thousand workers may be isolating at one time.

National Party leader Chris Luxon says Travis] businesses need better access to Rapid Antigen Tests that are Government-tracked and saliva tests to protect the supply chain.

He says that's how companies will decide, which workers, especially truck drivers, can and can't go to work.
