    UK police have opened an investigation into possible lockdown breaches at Downing Street


    Boris Johnson is fighting for his political life.

    It follows claims the Prime Minister and his staff partied in breach of rules they had themselves imposed, on everyone else.

    Revelations of revelry include boozy parties in Downing Street, suitcases of supermarket alcohol, and jokes by staff about how to present such parties to reporters.

    Johnson's welcoming the Met's decision to investigate.
