Wastewater testing shows the Hawke's Bay town has more meth detected per capita than any other region in New Zealand.
The nine have been charged with offences including possession of methamphetamine for supply, supplying and conspiring to supply methamphetamine, and money laundering.
Over a kilogram of methamphetamine's been seized, and Police say they captured evidence of conspiracies to supply multiple kilograms more to the community.
