Helicopters will be up in the air again today tackling a fire in the Far North

The blaze broke out near Kaiongaroa, not far from Karikari Peninsula, just before 3.30pm.
Up to five helicopters were used to fight it yesterday.
Crews have been standing by overnight at Pukewhai Road.
Fire and Emergency shift manager Colin Underdown says the blaze jumped the fire break and has spread to 20 hectares in thick scrub.
He says fire crews will do a visual inspection and decide on the avenue of attack shortly.
The blaze is west of a fire at Waiharara, which caused evacuations in Kaimaumau, and is expected to smoulder underground for months.
