    Geordie Beamish is through to the final of the men's 3000 metres at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Belgrade


    The kiwi has finished second in his heat in a time of seven minutes and 51 seconds.

    The final is on Monday morning.

    Sprinter Zoe Hobbs has missed out on a spot in the final of the women's 60 metres by 0.02 seconds to finish 11th overall.
