Today, there are 15-thousand-871 new cases of Covid countrywide, and 876 people are in hospital - with 27 in ICU.
Another 13 people have died with the virus.
Northern Region Health Coordination Centre's chief clinical officer says 510 virus patients are in Auckland hospitals.
Andrew Old says it's hoped that figure will drop over the next fortnight.
